St Anthony’s also has a children’s choir open to children of the parish in grades 3 through 8. The purpose of this choir is to provide the children with an understanding of the Church’s liturgy as well as to train them in the fundamentals of music and singing. Rehearsals combine the learning of music to sing at Mass with exercises in vocal production and training in reading music. No prior experience is necessary.
The Junior Choir sings at the 10 a.m. liturgy on the first Sunday of each month during the school year. Rehearsals are held in the Church on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. from September through June.
