GUIDELINESIn the event of an emergency at St. Anthony’s while the Religious Education classes are held, we will follow these procedures: Bad weather: If
there is a violent storm, hurricane, or tornado, the students and staff will
evacuate to the school gym or church building.
Parents will be called and can pick up children there. Need to evacuate the
premises:
If we need to evacuate the premises because of a problem in the building
we will go to Richter Field in good weather and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
hall in bad weather. Parents will be
called and may pick up their children there. Lockdown:
If there is a lockdown in the
building, students will remain locked in and no one will be admitted into the
building. Parents will be notified
and will be asked to pick up the children when the emergency is over. During these types of emergencies, it is very important for the office to have the most current and direct phone numbers to the parents. Please be sure to notify the office if you change your phone number and please be sure to fill out all the required information as often as necessary on the registration forms provided. If your child has a health emergency, and you cannot be
reached, we must have the phone number of his/her doctor to ensure the proper
care of your child. Please be sure to phone the office if your child will not be present on Sunday mornings. We will call any parent who has not phoned in to verify that your child is home and safe with you and has not encountered any emergency either in the building before attendance was taken or on the way to St. Anthony’s. |
