Dear Parents: Thank
you for the blessing of your children! We
have all enjoyed having them as part of our Religious Education Program. Since
it is now November, and the cold weather is upon us, I would like to inform you
of the procedures in case of inclement weather. If
you wake up on a Sunday morning and it is snowing or icy, you should follow
these procedures:
In
the event of an absence, please call our office by 9:15am, so we know your child
is not coming in or we will call you to verify that your child is home sick with
you. Your child MUST bring in an
absent note the following Sunday that includes name, grade, date of absence,
reason, and parent’s signature. This
is to ensure the safety of your child. In
order to prepare for class, each teacher asks that your child read the next
chapter of his/her textbook before coming each week.
Written homework may be given, but only one project per year will be
assigned if the teacher wishes. Sacramental
grades 2 and 8 will include additional assignments.
Please be sure your child is prepared for class by completing the
assignments and by bringing a notebook, pen and textbook on Sunday mornings.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Director of Religious
Education |
